Watch: Title track of Arshad Warsi- Naseeruddin Shah starrer Irada captures the essence of the film perfectly

The successful duo of Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah returns to the silver screen in Bollywood's first ecological thriller, Irada

The title track of Irada, an upcoming film starring Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi was released recently. The song perfectly captures the emotions of the film, which contains some hard hitting facts. The film tells the story of a small town which faces dire consequences because of the cruel intentions of a shrewd businessman.

Crooned by Nikhil Uzgare, composed by Neeraj Shridhar and penned down by Sameer Anjaan, the song is full of heavy duty words. The video also gives an insight into the film’s plot.

In this Aparnaa Singh directorial, Arshad Warsi plays the role of an NIA officer and Naseeruddin Shah of an ex-army officer who is on his way to seek revenge for his dead daughter. Sagrika Ghatge is also a part of the film and she will be seen playing a journalist in it.

The trailer was released a few days ago and it pointed that the film would have no dearth of mystery layers in it. The trailer started with Arshad as a corrupt officer but few seconds into the clip it was revealed this wasn’t the case. In the role of an NIA officer, Arshad looks quite promising in the film.

One movie, two movie, three and then people will realise this guy has zero talent. Those are the people who need to worry. I was never worried. I did my first film and I thought it was a cakewalk. I felt I could do it.

As of now, Arshad is pinning his hopes on Irada, which is being touted as Bollywood’s first ecological thriller and will release on 17 February.
