Through his Twitter timeline, Shah Rukh Khan has imparted many life lessons. The latest one, however, has no tinges of philosophy and is simply practical. In a video, SRK has asked everyone to refrain from drinking and driving while celebrating New Year.
The one thing that stands out in this video is the ‘Raees’ style in which SRK can be seen instructing the message. A pathani suit and those kohled eyes, SRK is advising all to be responsible during festivities.
In the 20-second long video, the actor’s words of wisdom go like: ‘Party ka mahaul hai khoob party karo. Majnu banke laila ke saath naacho, Lekin sharaab peeke gaadi mat chalao. (Live up the party mood. Dance with your beloved, but don’t drink and drive.)
He captioned the video: “This NYE (New Year’s Eve), be smart not stupid. Don’t drink and drive. Love u all. Raees ki suno.”

The ‘Laila’ in his tweet is a promotional plug for his forthcoming film Raees, which features the song Laila Main Laila, a remixed version of the evergreen peppy dance track from 1980 Bollywood film, Qurbani.
Raees is set against the backdrop of 1980’s Gujarat and chronicles the story of a bootlegger, Raees Alam and his quest with the system. Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is playing the role of a stern police inspector. The film also features Pakistani actress Mahira Khan as SRK’s love interest.
The movie became a talking point due to many reasons, one of them being its clash with Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil. Both the movies will release on 25, January 2017.
