Kangana Ranaut is always in news for some reason or the other. The actress recently grabbed limelight for her nepotism remark, which didn’t go down well with filmmaker Karan Johar. Earlier, Kangana was also targeted by Shekhar Suman and his son Adhyayan for the failure of her film Rangoon.

Known for her bold and carefree nature, it looks like no controversy can ever bring her down. Kangana, who has already started prepping up for her next project, is undergoing intense training session for her character. The actress will be seen playing the role of Rani Laxmibai in her next, titled Manikarnika.

This is Kangana’s dream project and she is leaving no stone unturned to make the film a grand one. The actress will not only co-script the historic drama but will also co-direct the film with Gabbar Is Back fame director Krish. And it looks like Kangana is all game to play the lead role in Manikarnika. The actress has started taking diction lessons to master the correct accent and is also undergoing horse riding sessions for the film.

It is being said that the film has a lot of horse riding scenes and to perfect the art, Kangana is taking lessons from one of the finest riders, Suresh Taporia at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi race course. Recently, a video of Kangana Ranaut practising horse riding went viral on the internet and we just can’t get our eyes off her.

Manikarnika is a biopic on the life of Jhansi Ki Rani and is written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, who is filmmaker SS Rajamlouli’s father and has penned films like Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Well, with such big names associated with the film, it will be interesting to see if Manikarnika turns out to be a box office success.
