Turban look of Aamir Khan not for 'Thugs of Hindostan'

Some time back the turban photo of superstar Aamir Khan was doing the rounds on social media and his look in the photo was touted as look that he will be donning for his upcoming movie Thugs of Hindostan, however, it turns out that the reports are not true.

Dangal actor’s spokesperson, while clarifying the news said that sardar look sported by actor is for some other movie and not for Thugs of Hindostan. The movie Thugs of Hindostan is being produced under the Yash Raj banner and the shooting for it will begin from May this year.

Set in the backdrop of pre-independence era, the film is about a group of thugs at the time of British India and also stars Amitabh Bachchan in a prominent role. It will be for the first time that Mr. Perfectionist and Big B will star together in a film and having both of them share the screen will be nothing less than magical.

The 51 year old superstar much awaited movie also has Jackie Shroff playing a major role. The film is scheduled to release around Diwali in 2018 and Vijay Krishna Acharya is directing it. The movie is based on the novel of the name, ‘Confessions of a Thug’ by Philip Meadows Taylor.

Earlier, there were reports that Kriti Sanon was to play the lead role opposite Aamir in the film, but later a source close to the film revealed that the hunt is still on and the makers are not concerned about young or old, as they want someone who can fit the role best.
