Tamil Nadu Box Office: Salman Khan's Tubelight releasing on 75 screens despite AAA and Vanamagan release

Salman Khan starrer Tubelight is releasing in a good number of screens at the Tamil Nadu Box Office despite many south movie releases

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan starrer Tubelight released on Friday, June 23. The war-drama, jointly written by Parveez Shaika and Manurishi Chadha along with the director Kabir Khan. The film has been produced by Salman Khan under his home banner Salman Khan Films. Tubelight also features late actor Om Puri, Salman Khan’s brother and actor-producer Sohail Khan, Master Matin Rey Tangu and Chinese actress-singer, Zhu Zhu. The film also marks the Hindi debut of model-turned-South actress Isha Talwar.

Tubelight released in a huge number of screens under the North India belt. The Salma Khan starer is releasing in a good number of screens at the Tamil Nadu Box Office as well.

Popular Malayalam producers/distributors, E4Entertainment exclusively revealed to InUth that Tubelight released in 75 screens across the Tamil Nadu on Friday. The makers who bankrolled two of the 2017’s biggest Malayalam hits, Prithviraj – Priya Anand starrer Ezra and Tovino Thomas – Wamiqa Gabbi’s sports drama Godha also stated InUth that the Salman Khan starrer is having nearly 300 shows on its opening day. It’s a very good release considering that three of major South Eid releases, Simbu starrer Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan, Jayam Ravi’s Vanamagan and Allu Arjun’s Telugu film Duvvada Jagannadham are also releasing on Friday.

Tubelight also stars Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo role. The film also marks the third collaboration of Salman Khan and Kabhir Khan after the 2012 and 2015 Eid blockbusters Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Set in the backdrop of the Indo-China war of 1962, Tubelight is an emotional journey of two brothers  Laxman Singh Bisht (Salman Khan) and  Bharat Singh Bisht (Sohail Khan).

Meanwhile, Tubelight has already released in UAE on Thursday and has received a good opening across the cinemas.

On the work front, Salman was last seen in Ali Abbas Zafar directorial Sultan.
