Rohit Shetty confirms a film with Ranveer Singh, shooting begins after Golmaal Again

After Golmaal Again, Rohit Shetty will start shooting for an out and out action film with Ranveer Singh. Are you excited?

Rohit Shetty has confirmed that he is in talks with Ranveer Singh for an out and out action film which would go on floors post the release of Golmaal Again this Diwali. While interacting with the media at a press conference in Mumbai, the director said: “I am doing a film with Ranveer Singh which will be full of action. First-time people will see Ranveer performing so many action sequences. He has great energy and after working with him in a commercial, even I believe so. The heroine of the film is yet not finalized and we will start working on the film after Diwali.”

The director further added that Ranveer Singh is a superstar as he commands terrific fan following among the masses. He said, “He connects with the mass audience and for me, he is a superstar.”

The director is currently busy with the fourth installment of Golmaal Franchise titled Golmaal Again. The film which releases this Diwali features Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Tabu, Tusshar Kapoor and Kunal Khemu in pivotal roles.

On the other hand, Ranveer Singh is working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Padmavati which is slated to hit the big screen in November this year. Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh have collaborated in the past over ‘Chings Noddles‘ advertisement and the reports about the two teaming up for a film have popped up ever since then.

There was a strong buzz that the two would collaborate on the official remake of yesteryear classic, Ram Lakhan, however, the film eventually got shelved.
