Ranveer Singh's expressions after chopping his moustache is something all boys will relate to

Ranveer Singh took to Twitter to share his new look after chopping his moustache. Reportedly, his new look is for the younger version of Alauddin Khijli

Ranveer Singh, who is known for trying different looks for his films sports a long thick beard for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming period drama Padmavati. On Wednesday night, the actor took his social media platform and posted his yet another avatar after chopping his moustache. He posted a funny picture of himself in which he can be seen heartbroken over losing his moustache. Sharing his picture on his Twitter page, the Bajirao Mastani actor wrote: “Before Mundan – After Mundan”.

In the picture, one can see the before and after look of Ranveer Singh. The actor sports this new look for his upcoming film Padmavati. Ranveer, who is playing the role of Alauddin Khijli in the film will soon start filming for the younger version of his character. He is done shooting for the older version of Alauddin.

Apart from him the film also features Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles. While Deepika will be seen playing the role of Padmavati, Shahid will play the role of Raja Ratan Singh. This is the first time Shahid and Deepika are working together for a film, however, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have earlier worked together in blockbusters like Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani. Padmavati will mark the third collaboration between the duo.

On the work front, Ranveer was last seen in Aditya Chopra’s directorial Befikre along with Vaani Kapoor. Apart from Padmavati, he also has Zoya Akhtar’ Gully Boy with Alia Bhatt. The film has been co-produced by Zoya’s recently-launched banner Tiger Baby and Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment. While both Alia and Ranveer have not starred in a film together, they have been seen in several advertisements for a travel website.
