Ranveer Singh calls Anushka Sharma 'bhootni' after watching Phillauri trailer

Anushka's ex-lover Ranveer Singh too took to Twitter to share his views about the trailer.

As the much-awaited trailer of Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh starer film ‘Phillauri’ was released on February 6, it has completely taken over Bollywood by surprise. Everybody in the fraternity seems to be gushing over the superb performaces by the actors.

From Shah Rukh Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Karan Johar, Radhika Apte to Ranveer Singh, everyone showered their praises on social media as soon as the trailer was launched. But, what interesting is that besides these starts, Anushka’s ex-lover Ranveer Singh too took to Twitter to share his views about the trailer.

“Awesome! Lovely trailer! So Fresh! (Trial ke liye bulana, Bhootni!),” the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actor tweeted.

To this, Anushka in a cheeky and playfull way replied back to the actor and wrote:

“Thank you of course bulaungi”, she tweeted.

Surely, this sets the perfect example in Bollywood that “Exs can be friends too.”

In the film Anushka plays a ghost who confronts a prospective groom (Suraj Sharma) who gets married to a tree. The film directed by Anshai Lal also features Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh.

‘Phillauri’ is all set to release on 24 March. The shooting of the film started in April 2016. The film derived its title from a small town in Punjab, Phillaur. This is Anushka’s second production venture, the first being NH10 that released in 2015.
