Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer Raabta released on 9 June and has managed to collect Rs 10.72 crore at the BoxOffice till the end of Saturday. The film, which failed to leave an impression on the silver screen did a business of Rs 5.61 crore on the opening day, while on the second day it raked in Rs 5.11 crore. The film somehow managed to cross the Rs 10 crore mark at the domestic market. The film’s story is of two lovers and the tale of their reincarnation. Helmed by Dinesh Vijan, Raabta which means connection, did not garner positive reviews from the critics either. The film also stars Rajkummar Rao, Jim Sarbh, Varun Sharma in pivotal roles.
The total earnings of Raabta were tweeted by trade analyst Taran Adarsh. He tweeted:

Despite bad reviews, one aspect of the movie which was liked by viewers was the sizzling chemistry between Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon. The stars recently stayed in news owing to their link up rumours but they vehemently denied it on every occasion.
Ahead of its release, Raabta was locked in a legal battle with makers of Maghadheera. The makers of this SS Rajamouli blockbuster claimed that Raabta was a copy of their movie. They also stated the movie violated copyright norms, something that makers of Raabta kept denying. Just a day before release, the matter was dissolved allowing the movie a smooth release.
The Box Office numbers of Raabta are disappointing and it is unlikely that the movie will do wonders at the ticket counters on Sunday.
