S.S.Rajamouli’s much-awaited Baahubali 2 is just a few days away from its release and the film is making headlines every single day for something or the other, which is only making the audience more curious about it. Baahubali: The Conclusion is the sequel to Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali: The Beginning and is said to be grander than its prequel.
While the trailer of the film made one and all impatient to know Why Kattapa killed Baahubali, the posters and VFX made our jaws drop. In fact, the magnum opus Baahubali now has a book series, and if all goes well, the trilogy will be adapted to the small screen.
It is also being said that the film is three hours long and now a new thing has come up, which will make you go crazy. We all know that Prabhas is seen in double roles in the film as Shivudu/Mahendra Baahubali and his father Amarendra Baahubali. And if reports are to be believed then he will also play his grandfather in Baahubali 2. Yes, you heard that right! Prabhas will play triple roles in the film.
The actor underwent rigorous training sessions for years to become Baahubali for Rajamouli’s film and his drastic transition from being a lean Mahendra Baahubali to sporting a burly physique to become Amarendra Baahubali is commendable.
Prabhas has spent nearly five years on the project and when the actor was asked about the journey of being part of India’s biggest motion picture franchise, he said: “It was physically strenuous, especially while working on action sequences in the first part. In the second part, Rajamouli edited the action scenes in a way that he made the whole process very easy.”
Well, we wonder how Prabhas will look in the role of grandfather. Baahubali 2 is slated to hit the screens on April 28 this year and it will be interesting to see how many new records will be created by the film, just like its prequel.
