Mirror Game-Ab Khel Shuru movie review: Parvin Dabas-Pooja Batra starrer is a must watch, only if you are fond of psychological thrillers

Mirror Game movie review: This Pooja, Batra, Parvin Dabas and Omi Vaidya's psychological thriller is a must watch for those who love this genre

Mirror Game, a psychiatric thriller starring Parvin Dabas, Pooja Batra and Omi Vaidya released on Friday at theatres. Directed by debutant Vijit Sharma, the film can be rightly termed as Bollywood’s first attempt at churning out a psychological thriller. Fortunately, the filmmaker has succeeded in his bid to a large extent and we bet it will keep you glued to the seats right from the beginning until the end.

The story revolves around a professor of psychiatric genetics Jay Verma (Parvin Dabas) who is trying out new innovation in his field while dealing with marriage woes. Finally, frustration gets the better of him and he hatches a devious conspiracy. Verma asks his student Ronny (Dhruv Bali) to eliminate his wife, and in return, he would be able to help in the research. After showing reluctance, Ronny agrees to be a hitman for his teacher. Jay Verma’s friend, Vikram (Omi Vaidya) is totally against the murder plan and tries hard to convince the eccentric professor to abandon this idea, but his advice is simply ignored. It turns out that Verma is suffering from schizophrenia. As planned, Ronny kills the professor’s wife and the professor lands up with the police. A psychiatrist named Shonali (Pooja Batra) is assigned the task of examining Jay’s behavioural changes. What follows is a nerve gripping tale that will give you goosebumps.
