Renowned playback singer Neha Bhasin, who is known for her songs like Jag Ghoomeya (Sultam) and Dhunki (Mere Brother Ki Dulhan) , recently lost her cool on entertainment portal Miss Malini, that had gone to cover the recently concluded IIFA 2017. An ugly Twitter war soon ensued with the singer suggesting Miss Malini to be more respectful towards the music industry.
It so happened that Miss Malini mistook Armaan Malik for Amaal Malik on the IIFA green carpet. Posting a video of the singer crooning a number, the website erred and earned the wrath of singer Aditi Singh Sharma. The vocalist who sang the number Sooraj Dooba Hai from Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Roy, recalled a similar incident that happened to her.”Last time i was on the carpet with @MissMalini she called me Kanika Kapoor !! This only happens with musicians @AmaalMallik @ArmaanMalik22″
The website was quick to issue an apology for the gaffe but it was not enough.”@MissMalini host an interview yourself with some of the singers someday so you can be aware, usually you send your team for music stuff.”
Meanwhile, Neha Bhasin too jumped into the debate and alleged that a reporter from the website had refused to interview her on the IIFA green carpet.

Bhasin did not stop here and vented her ire further.

The website was quick to do some damage control and tried to pacify the Filmfare Award-winning vocalist with some sweet words.
