Prabhas needs no introduction in terms of his stardom and acting prowess. The 37-year-old Telugu actor attained worldwide fame with his dual roles of Amarendra and Mahendra Baahubali in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali: The Conclusion. The historical fictional epic shattered several Box Office records both in India and abroad. He will be next seen in trilingual film Saaho, wherein he will share the screen space with Shraddha Kapoor.
After making his debut with 2002 film Eeshwar, Prabhas has been paired opposite several actresses in his 15-year-long illustrious film career. Prabhas and Anushka Shetty are one of the most adorable on-screen pairs in the Indian film industry. Their recent outing Baahubali: The Conclusion received an overwhelming response from the critics and fans alike. Prior to the Baahubali franchise, the duo worked together in Billa (2009) and Mirchi (2013). In Baahubali, Anushka played Amarendra Baahubali’s wife and Mahendra Baahubali’s mother Devasena, both of whom was played by Prabhas.
Prabhas, who boasts of a huge fan following among Hindi speaking audience, is yet to act in a Bollywood films. But the Telugu actor has shared screen space with Bollywood actresses, including the Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha in 2014 action-comedy film Action Jackson. Before making her Bollywood debut opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Barfi, Ileana D’ Cruz had established herself as a prominent actress in the South Indian film industry. She played an aerobics teacher in Mahesh Babu’s Telugu blockbuster Pokiri, that won her a lot of accolades. The gorgeous actress worked with Prabhas in Munna, that received mixed reviews.
Taapsee Pannu has earned a lot of accolades through path-breaking performances in films like Pink, The Ghazi Attack and Naam Shabana. Like Ileana, she too started her acting career in the South Indian film industry. She shared the screen space with Kajal Agarwal and Prabhas in Mr Perfect, that turned out to be a blockbuster upon its theatrical release in 2011.
Tamannah Bhatia played Prabhas’s on-screen love interest Avanthika in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 1& 2, both of which became blockbusters. Besides these two films, both the stars had romanced each other in 2012 action-romance film Rebel, which turned out to be an average grosser at the Box Office.
Ghajini actress Asin worked with Prabhas when the latter had just begun his career. The duo teamed up for Krishna Vamsi’s Chakram wherein Prabhas played an NRI who returns to his village to pursue his dream of building a hospital. The actress played his on-screen love interest, Lakshmi.
