Baahubali 2: New IMAX poster has Prabhas looking fierce, and you won't be able to take your eyes off him

Recently, a poster of Baahubali 2 in IMAX format was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday ahead of the movie's worldwide release

S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is all set to hit the screens worldwide on April 28 this year. The film, which is a sequel to Baahubali: The Beginning is one of the most-awaited films of this year. From its trailer and songs to posters and performances, everything is larger than life.

Recently, a poster of Baahubali 2 in IMAX format was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday ahead of the movie’s worldwide release. The poster was unveiled in the presence of director Rajamouli, cinematographer Senthil Kumar, Walt Cho, Director – Marketing and Distribution, Asia Pacific, IMAX Corporation and Alok Tandon, CEO, INOX Leisure Ltd.

The poster was also shared on the movie’s official Twitter handle and set the internet on fire. Featuring Prabhas the poster shows him in a fierce avatar, with a sword tied on his back.  In the franchise, Prabhas plays king Baahubali and his son Shivudu. He spent nearly five years on the project.

Asked about the journey of being part of India’s biggest motion picture franchise, Prabhas said: “It was physically strenuous, especially while working on action sequences in the first part. In the second part, Rajamouli edited the action scenes in a way that he made the whole process very easy.”

The makers of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion have also locked Cinestaan AA Distributors to release the Hindi version of the cinematic spectacle in the US, Britain, Australia and New Zealand markets. Starring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati in the lead, the film is the story of two warring brothers for an ancient kingdom. It also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan.
