Producer Ramesh Taurani confirmed that Race 3 will star Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead and the film would go on floors in Mumbai in October this year. The producer also confirmed that the team of the film, to be directed by Remo D’Souza, was in talks with several ‘A List’ actors and an official announcement about the entire cast of the film would be made soon.
According to media reports, Amitabh Bachchan has been approached by makers of the film to play a pivotal role in the film. The megastar is reported to be in advanced talks with Tips and is working on his dates, however, there is no official confirmation on the development as yet.
“Amitabh Bachchan has been approached for Salman Khan’s Race 3. And it seems that Big B is pretty thrilled and has no apprehensions working with Salman,” said the source close to a leading website.
If the reports indeed prove to be true, this would be Salman Khan’s fourth association with Amitabh Bachchan after Baghban, Baabul and God Tussi Great Ho. The third installment of Race franchise will be directed by Remo D’Souza and sources reveal that the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make it one of the biggest action film of India.
After a month long schedule in Mumbai, the team will fly abroad, however, the overseas locations are yet to be locked.
Amitabh Bachchan recently wrapped up a physically taxing shoot of Thugs of Hindostan, starring Aamir Khan in lead. The megastar got injured while shooting for an action sequence, however, he is reported to be in good health now.
Race 3 would be Salman Khan’s big Eid 2018 release.
