4 questions Priyanka Chopra answered on Dwayne Johnson's India visit, Baywatch and more

This is what Priyanka Chopra has to say about Baywatch's promotion in India and her co-actor Dwayne Johnson's plan to see the country

After Deepika Padukone’s xXx: Return of Xander Cage co-star Vin Diesel’s India visit, it’s time for another Hollywood star to visit the country. Priyanka Chopra, who is often being compared with Deepika Padukone regarding their Hollywood projects, is all set to bring her Baywatch co-star Dwayne Johnson to India.

Yes, you heard that right! And if everything goes well, then we will soon get to see The Rock in Mumbai with desi girl Priyanka Chopra to promote their upcoming film Baywatch. This is PeeCee’s first Hollywood flick and she will be seen playing a negative role in the film.

Despite her blink-and-miss appearance in the trailer, Priyanka is confident of her role and said that her fans won’t be disappointed after seeing her in the film. Baywatch stars Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron in important roles as well and will release on 26 May 2017.

In an interview with DNA, Priyanka Chopra revealed a lot about the film’s promotion in India and talked at length about her co-actors plans to see the country. Here’s what she said:

We are hoping so because we are doing a big promotional thing around the world and they know how important India is to me. We are having those conversations, but we haven’t started because it is not going to release until May. So, marketing will only start a few months before that. But the wheels are in motion.

I would bring all of them here. I speak so much about India and they all are so curious about coming here. A couple of my friends are coming next year and I am sorting out their trip because I am our ambassador.

No, not just Mumbai. I always tell them India is an experience and you have to be there at least a month. So everywhere from North to down South, because with every state, everything changes. The language, colours, clothes . . . So they are very curious and most of them want to come down, but mostly they want to come when I am here.

On one thing that she wants them to experience in  India

I want them to experience the spirit of it, it is not about food and location. There are more incredible things about India and what makes tourists come back over and over again is the spirit of our country. They need to experience that. They need to meet people and see how we function, there is such a beautiful rhythmic method to our madness. There is music to our chaos.

Well, PeeCee is surely making India proud on a global platform.
