The day is not far when it edges past Salman Khan’s Radio song from Tubelight (16 million views) or Raabta’s Main Tera Boyfriend song (19 million views) in the days to come. Social media is abuzz with memes over the popular song that has received severe backlash from music pundits who don’t have a good opinion about it.
Recently, veteran playback singer Asha Bhosle had slammed Bollywood music in an interview to Film Companion. In a brief conversation, she said there is a dearth of songwriters and music composers. Well, her displeasure can be rightly gauged by the fact that Bollywood of late has witnessed some songs whose lyrics are just…I mean.
