Ae Dil Hai Mushkil's 'Channa Mereya' song: Ranbir Kapoor's innocence will win you over

Channa Mereya from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is highly emotional

The third song of Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is out. This time it is a melancholic number featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.

Titled Channa Mereya, the song is set in Anushka’s wedding scene as Ranbir dedicates this heartfelt track to her. Sung by Arijit Singh, it gives you the heartbreak feeling. Winner, however, are the lyrics of the song, penned down by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

Acha chalta hun, duaon me yaad rakhna. Mere ziqr ka zubaan pe swaad rakhna. Dil ke sandukoon me mere ache kaam rakhna. Chithi-taron me bhi, mera tu salaam rakhna. Andhera tera maine le liya… Mera ujla sitara tere naam kiya.

While everything from emotions, music, lyrics, voice and the mood of Channa Mereya is beauty, what would intrigue you more are Ranbir Kapoor’s heena-clad palms. Once glance at the actor and Ranbir is sure to move you with the innocence he is carrying in the song.

The entire essence of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is the joy one gets in the pain of an unrequited love. While there has already been enough buzz about Ranbir-Aishwarya’s chemistry in the film, the actor himself seems to be standing loud with his performance in all the promos of the film.

The music of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, composed by Pritam Chakraborty, has been deemed as one of the strongest USPs, with its both the earlier tracks — title song and Bulleya finding their ways in the playlists of listeners. Channa Mereya too, like the film’s previous songs is set to embark on its journey of topping the chartbusters’ list soon.
