The trailer of Aamir Khan’s Dangal is inspiring. It shows the efforts, actors, and the makers have put into it. However, it also substantiates the fact that Dangal is not just all about wrestling. it is a story of a father, Mahavir Singh Phogat, who discovers a talent in his daughters. A talent that he used to think that only sons could possess. The wrestler then embarks on a journey with his daughters to train them and make them win gold for their country in the sport.
The trailer is getting immense praises for packing a powerful punch. Written and directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal is set to be a big Christmas release this year as it is releasing on 23 December. Apart from Aamir Khan, it also features Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Sanya Malhotra and Aparshakti Khurrana in pivotal roles.
Dangal is one of the most anticipated films of the year and therefore, expectations are high. Aamir had even undergone a rigorous training schedule for the film. But, does all that seem to be transmitting into a good watch? The trailer promises the same at least. It gives away the story of the film and also proves that the emotional quotient is high. Aamir had chosen to do the digital launch of the film’s trailer. He posted the trailer’s link on his Twitter handle on Thursday morning. During a conversation with us in Ludhiana, where he was shooting for the film a few months back, the actor had talked about the commercial elements in the film. Aamir had stated that Dangal is an out and out commercial film but its content overpowers everything else.
