Aamir Khan tweets heartwarming message to help flood victims of Gujarat and Assam - Watch Video

Aamir Khan has asked people to do their bit for Assam and Gujarat floods in a video. The superstar shared the video on Twitter

Aamir Khan took to Twitter to talk about floods in Gujarat and Assam. In a video he shared, Aamir asked everyone to lend their support to people in the affected areas. The 52-year-old superstar said he would do his bit for citizens in the flood-affected places as well. Many lives have been disrupted in these two states, with heavy rains continuing.

Reports suggest the Kaziranga National Park has lost around 107 animals. The recent wave of floods started in Assam on July 5 and lasted for over 15 days. Things aren’t any better in Gujarat. Reportedly, heavy rainfall on Friday, July 28, has added to the miseries of the people. According to reports, around 54,517 people have been displaced in Gujarat and shifted to safer places. Several cities in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar are waterlogged. Schools and colleges are shut in wake of the floods.

The condition of these two states is definitely alarming. Through the video, Aamir Khan wishes to spread awareness and urge more and more people to help. In the video, Aamir said it is a natural calamity and no one can do anything about it. But since we were helpless in stopping the disaster, it is important for us to help now.
