"If question has been raised (by Mayawati) on EVMs, govt should probe it. I will also look at it on my level", said Akhilesh Yadav

As the results of Uttar Pradesh elections are out, outgoing Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav while briefing the media accepted the defeat and congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the historic win in the state assembly elections.

He further said that the  alliance with Congress will continue as he has been benefited from it.

On losing with huge margin, Akhilesh said that he has always worked for the people and only after reviewing the outcome of the results, I will decide on party’s further move.

While addressing the media, Akhilesh said , “For five years Samajwadi Party was in the power and we tried to work for the development of the state and its people.”

Talking about BJP’ poll agenda for waiving off loans of UP farmers, Akhilesh said, “we should wait for the first cabinet meet”.
