UP Elections 2017: No one will vote for SP, If Akhilesh rides a cycle with Rahul in Jaunpur, says PM Narendra Modi

PM Modi in Varanasi promises loan waiver to farmers, free gas connection and electricity if BJP comes to power in UP

After a power packed roadshow throughout the day in Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur on March 4 where he addressed a massive rally ahead of the final and the last phase of the state assembly election scheduled on March 8. Throughout the day, a massive crowd of people gathered to witness PM’s roadshow and offered him a floral welcome. But in Jaunpur, the crowd chanted ‘Modi-Modi’ so loudly that Prime Minister himself had to ask the crowd for a chance to begin.

PM Modi began with taking a jibe on the opposition parties for asking proofs of the surgical strike carried out by the Indian Army in 2016 and accused them of doubting the credibility of Indian soldiers. He said,”Few people have doubted the Indian soldiers just for their political gain.” Further, he also thrashed the Congress party and asserted that they have just befooled the people on the name of One Rank One Pension scheme.

Gradually targeting the ruling Samajwadi Party, PM Modi repeated his Kaam and Karnaama remark and blamed Chief Minister of state, Akhilesh Yadav for failing to fulfil the promises he made regarding state’s development. He stated that when he checked the website of the state government and came to know about the loopholes, the very next moment those pages were removed from the website.

Further trolling the state government on development quotient, PM Modi took a dig on SP through the party slogan ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas‘. He said,”We are moving ahead with the formula of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,  but the present rulers believe ‘Kuch ka Sath, Kuch Ka hi Vikas’. The development has not yet done for the state but is confined within few political people.”

Further, speaking about the women safety in the state, he once again accused CM Akhilesh Yadav of not taking any strict actions against crime rather giving security to the criminals. He said,”People chant the Gayatri Mantra after doing some good work but SP chants Gayatri Prajapti Mantra. Now in such a scenario, how the females in the state could move out from homes after sunset?”

“If someone’s buffaloes are lost, the entire police bodies are deployed to search them but no actions are taken against serious crimes in the state,” he added.

PM Modi further promised if once BJP comes to power, loans on farmers will be waived off, free gas connections will be provided and electricity will continuously be supplied to villages across the state.

Earlier today, PM Modi kick-started the high-voltage campaign for the seventh phase of Uttar Pradesh elections. In a massive show of strength, PM’s roadshow began from the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) gate at 9 am, and moved towards Kashi Vishwanath temple with a huge crowd of supporters.

Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah and other senior leaders were present to greet him when he arrived at the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in a special Indian Air Force chopper. After a brief interaction, he moved in his bulletproof car in a cavalcade to a guest house. However, a minor scuffle took place between Samajwadi Party (SP) and BJP workers took place outside the Singh Dwar of the BHU.
