UP CM comes into action: Yogi Adityanath orders his ministers to disclose assets within 15 days

CM Yogi Adityanath said, UP government would very soon take effective steps for the welfare of the people and to improve law and order

The newly elected Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has given the directive to all his ministers to disclose their assets in within 15 days. Soon after taking oath as CM, he held his first cabinet meeting with ministers at Lok Bhawan, Lucknow on March 20.

CM Adityanath said, “all his cabinet ministers will have to declare details of their sources of income, movable and immovable assets to the Secretary to Chief Minister and to the party within 15 days.”

Addressing his first press conference as the Chief Minister, Adityanath said, “our government is fully committed to fulfil the promises that were made before elections.” He also thanked the people of the state for giving a huge mandate to the BJP.

At his meeting, the CM called for the adoption of the working style of the central government — where Prime Minister Narendra Modi worked for 18 hours daily — to rectify the mistakes of the past 15 years.

“Our government will work for the empowerment, welfare and betterment of the poor and will be dedicated to public welfare,” CM added.

The government and its officials would be made accountable to the people, CM Adityanath said. Improved educational system, better law and order, job creation, skill development, round-the-clock power supply and women security would be the priority issues of his government, he said.

The BJP, he said, had promised sabka saath, sabka vikas, and the fulfilment of that promise was in evidence at oath-taking ceremony.
