Kumar loses 'Vishwas' in AAP, may join BJP ahead of UP polls

Vishwas is in talks with the party president Amit Shah to finalise the deal.

As the elections in Uttar Pradesh are gearing up, some surprises are inevitable and as per the recent media buzz poet-turned-politician Kumar Vishwas may ditch Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party and is expected to join the Bhartiya Janta Party. If we go by the reports, Vishwas will contest the election from Sahibabad seat in Ghaziabad.

As per some BJP sources, a decision on him inducting in the party will be taken in a day or two as Vishwas is in talks with the party president Amit Shah to finalise the deal.

Party members are also exploring various options as Home Minister, Rajnath Singh’s son Pankaj Singh who is UP BJP secretary is also keen on contesting election from this seat.

Reacting on the development, he jokingly posted a tweet in which he wrote, ” Kumar Vishwas joins TMC, AIADMK, BJP, JMM, AGP”. The photo that he shared also has Mahatama Gandhi standing next to him.

Vishvas’s party member and Delhi’s deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia also put a tweet when asked about the speculation. He wrote,” I have the information that says that after 2017 UP elections, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is joining Congress. He even had a meeting with Rahul Gandhi on it.”

Vishvas has been part of AAP since it formation. He actively participated in Anna Hazare’s anti corruption movement.

In 2014 Lok Sabha elections Vishvas contested from AAP ticket in Amethi against Rahul Gandhi and Smriti Irani.
