Akhilesh Yadav has an advice for Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan who is the brand ambassador of Gujarat tourism for quite some time.
The Uttar Pradesh chief minister wants the Bollywood legend to stop promoting donkeys of Gujarat. “I would request Amitabh ji to stop advertising for donkeys of Gujarat,” Yadav said at an election rally in Rae Bareli ahead of the fourth phase of assembly polls.
“In Gujarat even donkeys are being promoted and then we are being accused of over spending on advertisment,” he addedNotedly, the latest advertisement on Gujarat tourism features Mr Bachchan along with many donkeys.
Targetting prime minister Narendra Modi, Akhilesh said “Prime Minister says, 24 hour power should be provided not only in Ramzan but also in Holi but I would ask him you have high regard for Ganga Maiyya, so swear by her and tell me whether So government provides 24 hour power in Varanasi.”
He also expressed confidence that people will vote SP-Congress alliance to power. “I can say with full confidence that we are leading in the poll so far and we will come to power.”
