Internet Is Divided Over This Pakistan Varsity's Holi Celebrations

Students at Pakistan’s Quaid-e-Azam University, in Islamabad, celebrated Holi with fervour and the video of the festivities have since gone viral. Cutting across cultural lines, the students can be seen dancing to the beats of the famous Sindhi song ‘Ho Jamalo’. The varsity had apparently organised the festival to promote religious tolerance and send out a message of love and peace.

The students, drenched in gulaal, kept tune with the peppy beat of the song and danced circles inside the college premises. The video however has social media divided. While most on the internet lauded the celebrations, there were others who, per usual, disapproved and slammed those who participated in it.
