Google Has Added A New Feature To Its Search Engine In India: Job Vacancies

Job seekers in India will now be able to find employment opportunities by a mere Google search.

Job seekers in India will now be able to find employment opportunities by a mere Google search. The tech giant has added a new feature in its search engine focused on connecting job-seekers and employers.

If a person puts in the job-related queries like “jobs near me”, “jobs for freshers” or others in the search bar, the search results will throw up the whole list duly categorized with location and other details.

Users can click on any job listing to view more details about the job title, location, and whether it is full time or part time or an internship. They will be able to narrow down results using smart filters, save those listings and share them. Google says it will add more relevant filters in the future. Users can also sign up for email alerts whenever new and relevant jobs matching their interests become available. Economic Times reported.

The significance of this new feature on Google is you can switch to the partner’s site straight from that page to apply for the position.

The search giant said that it has a deep collaboration with the job matching industry. Google has partnered with several companies including Aasaanjobs, Freshersworld, Headhonchos, IBM Talent Management Solutions, LinkedIn, Quezx, QuikrJobs, Shine.com, T-Jobs, TimesJobs*, and Wisdomjobs, Business Today reported.

With the job postings spread across websites, newspapers and notice boards, locating a proper job opportunity itself is time-consuming or at times a cumbersome task.

The company is aiming to make Google Job Search primary destination for finding openings that fit perfectly with your unique needs and skills, the internet giant said.
