The talented youngster played Mozart blindfolded, leaving the audience and the actress and talk show host spellbound.

“Lydian is only 13 years old, and he can play Mozart blindfolded. I’m 61 and I can’t spell Mozart blindfolded,” says the caption posted on Ellen DeGeneres’ Facebook page. The video has gone viral and has been watched over 3.4 million times. It has fetched over 61000 likes and shared over 22000 times.

In this video, Lydian tells Ellen that he can play two songs, on two different pianos simultaneously. “So, it’s like, uh, for example in my left hand I can play Mission Impossible, and on my right hand, I can play Harry Potter simultaneously. So both are different time signatures,” he says. He then stunned the audience by playing Mozart’s “Turkish March” blindfolded.

The child prodigy from Tamil Nadu has already made a name for himself after impressing A R Rahman with his musical talent, and wowing the world with his appearance on the US talent show, The World’s Best. According to TEDx, Lydian began his musical journey as a two-year-old, who took to drums.

Today, along with the piano, he can also play mridangam, guitar and tabla.
