Samsung launches Galaxy J7 Prime in India and it's a keeper

World smartphone giant Samsung electronics on Monday launched Galaxy J7 Prime in India.

Galaxy J7 Prime is the upgraded version of Samsung Galaxy J7 and was unveiled in Vietnam in August this year.

Priced at Rs 18,790, Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-core processor and runs on Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Samsung’s new smartphone is better than its predecessor both in terms of memory and camera. While Galaxy J7 supported an internal memory of 16GB with 1.5GB RAM, J7 Prime features 32GB internal memory with 3GB RAM, which is expandable up to 256GB via memory card.

Galaxy J7 Prime also features a ‘selfie-friendly’ 5MP camera front camera.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime supports two micro-SIM cards and has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB port for connectivity.

J7 Prime features a 3300mAh non-removable Li-ion battery and weighs just 167 g. The smartphone has a IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

Among its other notable features include a fingerprint scanner at the home key button that provides extra security and lets users unlock their safely within a second.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is exclusively available on Amazon India.
