Lithuanian Police Officers Had The Cutest Surprise For Women On International Women’s Day

Sending out messages, sharing videos, tagging in memes, updating statuses et al- as the world celebrated International Women’s Day yesterday, Lithuanian police officers were busy pulling over female drivers. Not for rash driving or anything fishy- the cops in this tiny European country were bringing flowers for women driving on the streets to wish them on International Women’s Day. Ain’t that just sweet?

Women in Lithuania were pleasantly surprised yesterday as they were pulled over and given beautiful tulips instead of a ticket. The flowers were handed out by the cops to women in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda and various cities all over the country. Check out the adorable video compilation they created-

They took to Facebook to share the heart warming pictures- smiles and words of praise being exchanged between female Lithuanian drivers and police officers. Thousands of comments poured in, praising the police officers for their sweet gesture. Check out the pictures they posted-
