Instagram Page Exposes Indian Brands For Blatantly Copying Designs

A much-needed desi version of Diet Prada, an international no-mercy Instagram account calling out copycats globally, has hit the Indian markets

While fashion is all about exploring your creativity, there are a bunch of copycats ready to copy other designers, minus credits of course. While it’s not easy to track the copycats, the internet loves calling people out and leaves no stone un-turned when it comes to hunting down or pointing fingers at copycats. An international no-mercy Instagram account called Diet Prada has been calling out copycats globally and a much-needed desi version of Diet Prada has hit the market: Diet Sabya.

In one of their posts, they ripped apart an Indian designer, who allegedly copied from Gucci–

The music at Pawan Sachdeva’s A/W ‘18 show wasn’t the only thing that jolted us out of our fashion week stupor. There were these pretend-Gucci “Princetown” loafers that weren’t fooling no one. Was the excessive fur lining, jutting out of the shoe like badly-behaved pubic hair, overcompensating for the blatant shoe theft? Well, if the front-row murmurs were anything to go by, you don’t touch Gucci; especially their IT shoes lined with the controversial kangaroo fur. Guess only ones ecstatic about this shoe situation are the kangaroos.

Check out the savagery they’re bombarding Instagram with-
