As per the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, 52-year-old Jack is not just the richest person in Asia but also the 14th wealthiest man in the world

What would you do if I tell you that there’s a way you can add whopping $2.8 billion to your net worth asset just in a single day? Would you believe me? I believe, not! But what if I tell you that there’s somebody who has actually done it? You still wouldn’t believe me, right? Well, it has been done! Who did it? None other than the richest man in Asia!

Jack Ma, who is the founder of Alibaba.com and the richest man in Asia, continues to increase his fortunes as the billionaire entrepreneur’s net worth surged by $2.8 billion in a single day!

Jack made it possible by beat the growth forecast of 45 to 49 percent revenue rise in the year ending March. Alibaba, which is China’s largest e-commerce company, was able to do so due to the key investments the company made beyond its regular online shopping enterprise.

Despite China’s decelerating economy, Alibaba and Tencent Holdings Ltd., which has been the biggest name in online shopping and social media, have now ventured into new areas ranging from cloud computing services to streaming music and video. As a result, its shares rose to 13 percent.

As per the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, 52-year-old Jack is not just the richest person in Asia but also the 14th wealthiest man in the world. This year alone, his net worth has increased by $8.5 billion to a total personal net worth of $41.8 billion.

While Bill Gates continues to be the number one in the list of world’s richest people, Amazon.com’s Jeff Bezos is now officially the second richest person in the world.
