Younis Khan wins hearts of cricket fans beyond boundaries with his gesture towards a young Kiwi fan

Pakistan’s cricketing legend Younis Khan did the most beautiful thing one can do for a fan. Younis came across a handwritten letter from a fan from New Zealand who drew a sketch of him and asked for his batting tips. The 40-year-old did not want to disappoint his fan. First, he posted the photo of the message from his fan thanking him for the letter on April 25. Almost two weeks later, he posted a video as promised about teaching his now 12-year-old fan Felix Anderson on how to play a cover drive and a cut shot.

Younis retired in 2017 after the Test series against West Indies. He is the highest run scorer for Pakistan in Test cricket with 10,099 runs to his name at an average of 52.05. His Test career featured 34 centuries and 33 half-centuries. His ODI batting statistics are pretty impressive as well with 7,249 runs including 7 centuries and 48 half-centuries.
