The ‘God of offside’ Sourav Ganguly, picked up the bat during Delhi Capitals (DC) training session, giving 90s kids a major flashback of the good ol’ times. The video posted by DC’s Twitter handle is a treat for Dada’s fans as he can be seen playing square cuts and off drives with ease. The newly-appointed DC advisor helped the fielders during the training session.
In the clip, Ganguly can be heard saying ‘old is gold’ trying to lighten up atmosphere for the players.
DC have been impressive in the tournament so far despite one loss in two games. They will be taking on the 46-year-old’s former franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at their homeground Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi.
