It is expected to be a 17-member squad that will travel to South Africa

Virat Kohli who recently brought up his 5th double century in the second Test against Sri Lanka at Nagpur is all set to miss the remainder of the series. Virat Kohli had opted for rest ahead of this series, owing to the non-stop cricket he has been playing. Kohli has been in ominous form, he also scored a century in difficult conditions at Kolkata in the first Test. However, the focus of attention during today’s selection meeting will be on the tour to South Africa, which will be the first big test of Kohli’s men against a top side in overseas condition. It is expected to be a 17-member squad that will travel to South Africa.
