Virat Kohli records a special message for Usain Bolt's last race, invites him to play cricket | Watch Video

Virat Kohli wants Usain Bolt to have a crack at cricket ahead of the speedster's last race in London, posts a video on Twitter

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli wishes speedster Usain Bolt ahead of his last race in World Athletics Championships at London. Kohli recorded a message and posted it on Twitter ahead of the second Test against Sri Lanka at Colombo. Bolt and Kohli endorse the same brand ‘Puma’ although there are disparities in the monetary part of the deal. But Kohli took some time out of his busy schedule to wish the ‘fastest man’ ahead of his last race. Bolt himself is a big fan of cricket as a sport.

Kohli said, “Hey, Usain! I know it’s your last race we are going to miss you a lot on the track. From me and everyone in the Puma family, we wish you all the very best for this one and all your future endeavours. If you ever wanna play cricket you know where to find me.”

The Jamaican speedster keeps an eye on cricketing events. He was filled with ecstasy when West Indies won the ICC T20 World Cup 2016. Bolt took to Twitter and posted his dance post-T20 World Cup triumph.

Bolt is confident of winning the race as he said in a recent interview. He said,” I’m sure I’ll be betting on someone. There’ll be no pressure. The next championship should be fun. You guys know if I show up for a race that means I’m 100 per cent confident. [Losing is] not going to happen so we won’t have that problem.”

Bolt has been associated with cricket as well, he has played an exhibition match with Indian cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh in 2014.

Yuvraj has also been associated with Puma. He also got ‘YOUWECAN’ sponsored by the brand which is supposed to spread awareness about cancer and helping the underprivileged to fight the disease.
