This Shuttler Duo Is The First Indian Pair To Win BWF Super 500 Title

This shuttler duo just created history by becoming the first Indian pair to win a BWF Super 500 badminton tournament
, said to be the toughest badminton competition. Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty defeated Chinese Li Jun Hui & Liu Yu Chen 21-19, 18-21, 21-18 at the Thailand Open. With this record, the World No 16 India duo is now set to enter the top 10 bracket,
the first for any Indian men’s doubles pair. The 22-year-olds had won silver in Doubles at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Chirag comes from a Mumbai family of hoteliers while Saatwiksairaj is son of a PT teacher  and hails from East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh.
