Shikhar Dhawan took to Twitter to express his anger towards Emirates Airline

Ahead of the South Africa tour, Shikhar Dhawan has been having a tough time with Emirates Airline. Allegedly, Dhawan’s family was not allowed to board the connecting flight to South Africa from Dubai as they were not carrying birth certificates and other documents.

The upset cricketer took to Twitter and bashed the Emirates Airline. He tweeted:

Emirates Airline replied with an automated message:

Dhawan also complained about the rude behaviour of one of the employees. He emphasised that he was not informed about these documents when they were boarding the flight from Mumbai.

This is not the first time Emirates Airline has been at the receiving end. On December 28, England cricketer Kevin Pietersen too faced some issues with the airline. His luggage was left in Dubai and was not give the live streaming of the Big Bash League (BBL) match despite being a Platinum member of the airline.
