Sehwag likens Ganguly's smile with Rasogulla, Sreesanth joins in

Sehwag's tweet drew a lot of attention as Dada's smile was likened with Rasogulla

Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag knows how to stay in news for right reasons. From being one of the most attacking opener in the world to a social media savvy celeb, Sehwag knows how to keep his fans entertained . The 42 year old cricketer, who is currently donning the role of chief mentor of Kings XI Punjab, posted a pic on Twitter that saw him sharing light moment with none other than former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly. And remaining true to his trademark humour, the right-hander wrote “Dada ki khushi me apni khushi hai. Rasogulla jaisi meethi muskaan”.

However, it was not clear where the pic was clicked, however it seemed that the image was captured during Kings XI Punjab’s match against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens earlier this week. For all cricket fans, the camraderie the duo share is an open secret. For Nawab of Nazafgarh has been a big admirer of prince of Kolkata and even credits him for shaping his career. The soutpaw, on his part, also  regards Sehwag as one of the best batsman in the world and even stood by him during his exclusion from Indian team.

Sehwag’s tweet drew a lot of attention as Dada’s smile was likened with Rasogulla and Tweeple praised their bonhomie. However, former pace bowler S. Sreesanth also responded to Sehwag’s tweet with a string of replies reminiscing memories of the past and thanked the duo for help and support when he was playing for India.

Sreesanth was found guilty along with Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan in a spot-fixing case that rocked the IPL in 2013. The Kerala pacer was subsequently barred from playing cricket by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
