During the chit-chat session, Amitabh shared his love towards the game of cricket and other sport. He stated that his favourite team from this tournament is Mumbai Indians which he has been supporting for years. It was not the first time that Sr Bachchan was seen in IPL. In the 8th season of IPL, back in 2015, Amitabh Bachchan came with Deepika Padukone in one of the games to promote their film Piku, directed by Shoojit Sircar.

But for the director, it was for the first time to appear in a cricket-based chat show.

Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, Sarkar 3 is the sequel of his previous directorial works Sarkar and Sarkar Raj. Apart from Sr. Bachchan in the lead, the third installment of the series has a long list of stars featuring including Manoj Bajpayee, Raj Kumar Rao, Yami Gautam, Jackie Shroff, Ronit Roy and Amit Sadh who is playing the character of Sarkar’s grandson and son of Vishnu (Kay Kay Menon) who was killed in the first movie. The movie is going to release on May 12.
