Pakistan speedster Hasan Ali trolls Sri Lankan batsman Sachith Pathirana on the field — Watch Video

Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka yet again in the first T20I as they bundled out the visitors in the 19th over and then chased the target with ease

Pakistan are dominating Sri Lanka in every format of the game. In the first T20I of the three-match T20I series Pakistan had a comprehensive win by 7 wickets. Though Pakistan is doing a fabulous job in the limited overs cricket, that does not give them a license to troll players on the field. The incident took place in the 13th over of Sri Lanka’s innings. Sachith Pathirana was beaten by Ali as the ball took an inside edge and hit his pads. Pathirana was not aware of the fact that the ball is just near the stumps as he did not have a clue about ball’s whereabouts. Ali walked up to him and acted as if he has caught the ball and then picked it off the ground.

The commentators had a hearty laugh about it in the commentary box as well. The very next ball Ali bowled a short-pitched delivery to Pathirana who tried to pull it on the front foot. The left-handed batsman did not look in control while playing the shot and ended up mistiming it. Ali caught the ball easily and Pathirana had to leave the field leaving his team in even more danger, 7 for 68 in the 13th over.

Here is the video:

Ali had got his wicket and he celebrated it with his trademark celebration. Sri Lankan batsmen continued their bad run on the tour as they bundled out for 102 in 18.3 over. If not for Seekuge Prasanna, Sri Lanka would not have been even able to get past the 100-mark.

Ali is currently the No.1 bowler in ICC ODI rankings. The fast bowler picked up 3 wickets for 23 in the first T20I. Pakistan batsmen got off to a slow start while chasing a target of 103. But Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez chased down the total with 16 balls to spare.
