India has already taken a 1-0 lead in the 3-match Test series against Sri Lanka at home

MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina are known to be close friends on and off the field. But Suresh Raina’s latest comment on MS Dhoni has sparked a controversy. In the show Breakfast With Champions, Raina said despite being known as the coolest player of the Indian team, Dhoni does get angry at times on the field which was impossible to foresee. The comments did not go down well with MS Dhoni fans as the former skipper is generally known for being calm-headed on the cricket field.

MS Dhoni has now broken his silence over the issue. Dhoni tackled the query with a straight bat and defended his stand in a light manner. He said,

There are many zones in the middle of it where you enjoy and make fun. Once (I am playing) on the ground, I do not joke around, but inside the dressing room, I enjoy a lot. I conduct myself according to how I think I should conduct myself in different areas.

Speaking at an event conducted by Indian Army in north Kashmir, the former Indian skipper also shared his opinion on the possibility of being involved in bilateral series with Pakistan. He also hoped that one day Kashmiri cricketers will represent the nation.

After visiting the camps, Dhoni said,

When it comes to India-Pakistan cricket, it is not just sports, but becomes much bigger than that. It is not a simple decision, but a diplomatic and a political decision. So, it is a big decision and I think we should leave it to the government to decide. If the government decides, we will go and play and if they decide against it, we will play some other series.
