Meet Asia's Youngest Cricketer Sanush Suryadev Who Shares His B'day With MS Dhoni

At Two-and-a-half years, Sanush Suryadev created history as he made into the Asia book of records as the youngest professional cricketer

At two-and-a-half years, Sanush Suryadev from Chennai made into the Asia Book of Records as the youngest ‘professional cricketer’. Sanush is a left-handed batsman and a left-arm bowler.

He got the ‘professional cricketer’ tag because of his capability to hold the bat and play shots like a professional cricketer.

‘He can play straight drive, cover drive and can also come down the track and hit the ball,’ Sanush’s father Murugan Raj, who is himself a cricketer, said.

Besides entering the Asia Book of Records, Sanush also made it into India Book of Records as the youngest child cricketer in India. Both the record-keepers have their own panels which identify kids with extraordinary talents

Sanush, who is an internet sensation, started playing cricket since he turned one.

Earlier this year, former Indian captain MS Dhoni met the cricket prodigy and praised him for his talent. In keeping with his love for the former skipper, Sanush Suryadev is also called ‘Junior MSD’. Interestingly, MS Dhoni and Sanush share the birthday on the same day.

“He is the world’s youngest cricket player. He has been playing cricket since he turned one. What’s special about my son is that he plays like a professional cricketer. He plays straight drive, cover drive and can also come down the track and hit the ball,” Sanush’s father told Sportskeeda.

According to the media reports, Sanush wakes up at 5 am in the morning and starts practising.

What a champion!
