The self-proclaimed critic Kamaal Rashid Khan, popularly known as KRK, criticised the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for appointing former Indian team captain Ravi Shastri as the new head coach of the Indian cricket team led by Virat Kohli. The BCCI on July 11 appointed Ravi Shastri as the head coach. This will be his third stint with team India. Kamaal R Khan posted a series of tweets on his official Twitter handle to express his disappointment over the BCCI’s decision.
KRK posted: “ So @ImZaheer n Rahul Dravid will do coaching, while @RaviShastriOfc will give message to @imVkohli Ki Kitna Maal Aya n kitne pe out Hona hai.”
“When Zaheer is bowling coach n Dravid is batting coach then what will @RaviShastriOfc do? Will he cut the hair of players? I mean Hajjamgiri,” KRR said in another tweet.
In his third tweet, he posted a picture and captioned it as: “Hahaha! By God Ki Kasam, what a great job #BCCI has given to @RaviShastriOfc! Ravi Bhai aap Toh Chaa Gaye!”

Meanwhile, soon after his appointment as the head coach, Ravi Shastri said that he will not be just a ‘yes man’ guy to captain Virat Kohli and his players and will bring in his own ideas to help the team in the next two years.
“Team knows my approach. They know how close they can be with me and how much of a distance they need to maintain from me. There’s a good understanding between me and the team,” Shastri told a news channel.
The 55-year-old former India captain has earlier been a Cricket Manager during 2007 tour of Bangladesh and then Team Director from 2014 August to 2016 June.
