IPL 2018, RCB vs MI: Royal Challengers Bangalore would be looking to register a win over Mumbai Indians to keep their playoff hopes alive

Bollywood actress and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli’s wife, Anushka Sharma, turned 30 on May 1. Virat and Anushka tied the knot in December 2017 after dating each other for over four years. They tied the nuptial knot in a destination wedding in Italy.

To make Anushka’s 30th birthday special, Virat posted an adorable message for her on social media. The RCB skipper posted a picture of him feeding the birthday cake to the actress. He captioned the image as: “Happy B’day my love. The most positive and honest person I know. Love you.”

As soon as Virat shared the post on Instagram, it went viral as over 2 lakh of his followers liked it and poured their wishes for Anushka.

Anushka, on the other hand, wants to start the new decade of her life by building an animal shelter for homeless animals on her birthday. Anushka informed this through a note on her Twitter handle.

Anushka has taken a break from her busy schedule and is celebrating her big day with Virat in Bengaluru, where RCB will face Mumbai Indians (MI) later in the day.

Most probably, Anushka will be present at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium to cheer for her husband and his team RCB in a must-win game.

In the past, Anushka was spotted on several occasions extending her support to RCB from the stands.

Meanwhile, RCB would be looking to register a win over MI to keep their playoff hopes alive. RCB are coming into this game after suffering back-to-back defeats at the hands of CSK and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

On the other hand, Rohit Sharma-led MI would be hoping to keep their winning momentum going as they need to win all their remaining games to qualify for the playoffs.
