IPL 2018: Ravindra Jadeja Gets Trolled For His 'Test-match Innings' & Dropped Catches — Watch

Ravindra Jadeja scored at a strike rate of 100 in death overs and dropped two catches in a row in the powerplay overs

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been struggling with his form in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018. Jadeja has scored just 57 runs from 8 innings this season. He has been sent ahead of in-form batsman Dwayne Bravo. In the clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), he came in 6th and scored just 12 runs from 12 balls despite getting a platform to score freely.

The Saurashtra all-rounder, who is usually one of the agilest fielders in the team, dropped two catches as well and that too on the trot. In the second over, KM Asif managed to get the better of Sunil Narine who played two mistimed shots on consecutive deliveries. Jadeja dropped two catches in a row in deep mid-off fielding position, leaving Asif and skipper MS Dhoni frustrated.

This is not the first time Jadeja got criticised in the tournament. Sending him ahead of Bravo has been the talk on Twitter among CSK fans. Jadeja was one of the retained players (Rs 7 crore) in the IPL 2018 retentions.

CSK are currently the table-toppers with six wins out of eight games. Had it been the other way round, Jadeja would have been replaced by any other player. CSK might lose the top spot if they do not continue their domination over other teams.
