The Sunrisers Hyderabad have acquired the top spot in the Indian Premier League points tally after winning two consecutive games against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Gujarat Lions (GL) respectively. And now, ahead of their third game against Mumbai Indians, Hyderabad skipper David Warner indulged in a face-off with New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson during the practice session.
No, no! Don’t take it wrong. It was nothing like a battle in the dressing room but an indoor session between both the players. Actually, the Hyderabad scheduled net session was washed out due to rain and therefore, an indoor bonding session was organised for the players of the Orange army. In order to make the session more entertaining, Warner and Williamson decided to have a one-on-one dart competition. Warner began the competition and hit three darts on three different spots while Kiwi skipper surpassed the Aussie lad and marked a massive victory after hitting the bull’s eye.
After winning the competition, Williamson started running here and there out of joy while Warner was also seen jumping at his place. Both the cricketers hugged each other and exchanged a high-five to cherish the moment. World number 2 Test batsman, Kane Williamson proved that not only he is a world-class cricketer who is known for his batting skills but also he is quite unbeatable in the dart game.
Meanwhile, the entire episode was captured on camera which was later shared on the official facebook page of the Sunrisers Hyderabad which also had a post written,”Watch Kane and David battle it out at the Sunrisers Darts Championship. You can’t afford to miss out on such great energy. #OrangeArmy“
Later, Warner said,“There you have it Sunrisers fans, our first 180 … comes off probably 10,656 attempts. Two years of hard work has finally paid off. It’s like a hole in one for golf for us.”
Talk about precision! Watch Kane and David battle it out at the Sunrisers Darts Championship.
You can’t afford to miss out on such great energy.
