The 10th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to kick-start on 5th April. The cash-rich extravaganza started in 2008 under the guidance of Lalit Modi, who is now banned for life by the Indian cricket board for alleged corruption and misuse of power.
Since the inception of Twenty20 mega-show, the extravaganza became the talk of every household not only in India but across the globe because of the association of celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla, Preity Zinta and business tycoon Mukesh Ambani.
Following the success of the cash-rich show, many countries like Australia, West Indies, South Africa, Bangladesh and Pakistan unveiled their own T20 leagues.
