VVS Laxman's kids meet their 'favourite' player David Warner after superb knock against KKR

Warner hit 8 huge sixes and 10 fours to help his team put a mammoth score of 209 runs for KKR to chase in their designated 20 over.

Australian star cricketer and Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner, yesterday became the third centurion of the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League as he bludgeoned a 59-ball 126 to guide his team to a convincing win over Kolkata Knight Riders in Hyderabad.

Warner hit 8 huge sixes and 10 fours to help his team put a mammoth score of 209 runs for KKR to chase in their designated 20 over.

After leading his team to a scintillating win, Warner was seen covered in a cake at the team hotel in Hyderabad. Fellow teammates thanked their skipper for his brilliant knock by putting cake all over Warner’s face. On the occasion, former Indian batsman VVS Laxman’s kids went to tbe stadium to greet Warner.

Laxman took to Twitter and expressed his happiness on the micro-blogging website. He wrote, “My kids had a great evening to see one of their favourite cricketer David Warner score a scintillating 100, keep it up mate.”

Despite the win, SRH continued to stay in the third spot with 13 points in their bag while KKR (14 points) and Mumbai Indians (14) still hold the first two spots in the table.

In the five games away games so far, SRH have lost three, won one and one was washed out in Bengaluru. They have two home games and two away games remaining to strengthen their position at the top of table.
