Indian Premier League 2017, KXIP v RPS: Wriddhiman Saha proved once again why he is hailed as one of the best ever by a wicketkeeper

The Indian wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha is by far the fittest among the Indian cricket team. He has proved it time and again how athletic and superman-like he is. In the Border-Gavaskar trophy as well, he showed why is one of the best behind the stumps in the modern day and age. The lad from Siliguri is not one of the most gifted going around, but with sheer hard work he contributes in many ways to the team.

Currently, the Indian Premier League is underway, this happens to be the tenth edition. We are talking about a match in this edition when Wriddhiman Saha proved once again why he is hailed as one of the best. Kings XI Punjab were taking on the Royal Challengers Bangalore in which the Punjab outfit emerged trumps, thanks to Glenn Maxwell.

This happened when RCB were reeling at 68 for 3 in the 12th over. The batsman was Mandeep Singh and the bowler was Varoon Aaron. Mandeep Singh went for a wild heave, only to get a top edge. The ball went high up in the air, and Saha had to run back 30 metres, then the ball swirled in the air, it seemed he had missed the trajectory in the air, but no he clung on to the ball and Mandeep Singh was out.
